Throughout his time as United States attorney, deputy attorney general of Colorado and years of private practice, Jason Dunn has handled some of the highest-profile cases in Colorado. As the top federal law enforcement official in Colorado, Jason led an office of 200 attorneys and staff prosecuting high-profile criminal and civil matters on behalf of the United States. He and his team fought cybercriminals and brought numerous actions under the False Claims Act (FCA), the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other civil and criminal statutes. He helped lead the Department of Justice’s Procurement Collusion Strike Force and served on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committees for Cybercrime & Intellectual Property and Terrorism & National Security. This experience gives him unique insight into the trial tactics and decision-making process at the highest levels of government investigations and litigation.

Jason’s legal practice encompasses counseling a wide range of corporations, business groups, trade associations and nonprofits on government, internal and white-collar investigations, regulatory and compliance issues, and cybercrime. Drawing on his experience in multiple leadership positions, Jason assists clients involved in state attorneys general investigations, and he continues to advise clients on the intricacies of federal and state campaign finance and election law. 

Jason co-chairs the firm’s State Attorneys General practice group and the Government Investigations & White Collar Defense practice group.
